Here are the terms of service, agreed between Ms. Kanika Nath, hereafter referred to as "the service provider" and the "client", to maintain a neutral ground and to keep the work running smoothly.
At any given point of time, the discussion of terms is for a single photoshoot and not collective for multiple sets of photoshoots.
At any given point of time, the discussion of price is for a single photoshoot and not collective for multiple sets of photoshoots.
The price discussed before beginning the photoshoot is final and no concession or discount shall be entertained later.
50% advance payment has to be made by the client to the service provider, to reserve the dates for the photoshoot and is non-refundable, non-transferable.
At any given point of time, if the client cancels the shoot for any reason, the accomplished work shall not be submitted to the client, instead the client can pay in full to get the copy of the raw work in the form of soft copy (without development and without editing the work).
The remaining 50% of the payment for the photoshoot shall be paid within 3 days of completion of the photoshoot, and beyond that Rs.500 shall be charged per day of delay in payment.
All the pictures shall be delivered only after the full payment, in the form of soft copy and not in printed format.
For printed format, separate charges are applicable.
The pictures previewed on the camera screen during the photoshoot are NOT the final version. They are only a raw representation of the pictures before developing, editing and refining them.
If at any given point of time, the service provider denies to continue the work, then the 50% advance shall be returned without any rate of interest calculated on it. This condition shall not be executed in the situations like injury to the service provider during the photoshoot, harassment of the service provider (physical, verbal, mental, sexual) or abuse or harm in any manner (physical, verbal, mental, sexual) and it shall be dealt under the provision of appropriate law.
Neither the client, nor any of their accomplices / partners / friends / relatives are allowed to operate the equipment brought on the photoshoot location by the service provider. If any damage occurs to the equipment from the client's side, the client will have to pay for the damages or for the new equipment if the damage is beyond repair / recovery.
A transport facility has to be arranged by the client for pick up and drop of the service provider along with the equipment, on all days, until the photoshoot is completed. This can be negotiated based on how near/far the location of the shoot is.
Any or all the terms of service is subject to the change and in case of any disagreement, the decision of the service provider shall be held final.

The safety of the service provider is the responsibility of the client.
Appropriate photoshoot permission / license must be acquired by the client for the location (if commercial), from the property owner or the local authorities and a copy of the same shall be shared with the service provider. In case of any dispute or legal action from the property owner or the local authorities, the client will take complete responsibility and it is not the responsibility of the service provider. The rent of the photoshoot location shall be borne by the client.

All the pictures clicked by the service provider are the sole work of the service provider and it is only the service provider who owns the copyright to all of the work done for the client.
The client is allowed to use the pictures for personal or commercial use, only at the discretion of the service provider by obtaining usage permission from the service provider over an email through contact page.
The service provider can use the pictures as and where necessary for personal and commercial use, unless specifically agreed not to, through a registered/notarized contract.
The client shall share the usage rights and copyright along with the service provider or fully own the usage right and copyright, only when agreed through a registered/notarized contract with the service provider.
The client cannot make copyright claims, if the payment towards the work has not been made in full. Until such time, the service provider shall own the copyright to all the work, and every agreement until such time shall remain null and void.
